Best Plot competition

S Clensey judged the plots to RHS standards. Out of 100% the points were given as follows:

40% for veg (different types at different growing stages)

15% for flowers

15% for fruit

10% for composting

20% for overall presentation.

Plot 18 came third with 50 points

Plot 1 came second with 52 points

Plot 8 came first with 57 points

Hopefully we can attain higher standards next year.

SHS are now part of West Lancashire Federation for Allotment and Leisure Gardeners.

If you have any issues that you would like to raise at a higher level pass them to T Lake who if they can't be resolved at Society level take them to WLFALG and higher.
